  • Ensure our individuals are active, engaged, and productive by overseeing their vocational program.
  • Responsible for interviewing and hiring vocational staff
  • Ensure all shifts within the vocational program are adequately covered and done so in a way to allow the program to function as a profitable entity.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Pennsylvania provides programs and services for adults with intellectual/developmental/behavioral health disabilities. Located in Devon PA, this position serves as the lead manager, organizer and facilitator for community participation for the The Shops at Devereux and the ALPHA programs. The program manage also oversee CPS specialist staff and other team members assigned to CPS activites to ensure all activities meet the CPS definition, ensure compliance to individuals’ plans, safety of participants, staff, business partners and the public at large. The CS Manager will work effectively with The Shops and ALPHA team, Program Specialists, Clinicians, as well as members of the persons’ teams to help identify paid and non-paid opportunities that can potentially lead to employment.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Vocational Education, Rehabilitation Education, Human Services, or related field.  Will consider Associates degree/60 credits with at least 15 of those credits in human services.     

 

EXPERIENCE:  At least three (3) years’ experience working with working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities

and/or mental health diagnoses.   At least four (4) years’ experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities

and/or mental health diagnoses with Associates degree. At least one (1) year supervisory and/or lead staff experience required. Must

have knowledge of regulatory requirements.  Must possess and maintain valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age.
