The Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services (DPACS) Admissions & Utilization Review department is seeking a full-time Administrative Support professional to support our Admissions & Utilizations Review team on our West Chester campus at our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) . 

 

Every day in this role you will...

  • Provide administrative support daily for the assigned department
  • Collaborate with multiple team members in a variety of departments
  • Communicate with internal and external teams related to the Admissions & UR processes
  • Engage with parents & families of children to provide accurate and timley information related to services provided by our PRTF to facilitate the admissions process

You will be offered:

  • Compenstaion: $19.22 - $21.91 an hour (dependent upon experience)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, normal day time hours (8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm)

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and  approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.  A primary focus throughout the program is the philosophy of Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS), a program-wide system of care that promotes and rewards positive behaviors, and prevents negative behaviors, to create safe, supportive living environments. Each year, more than 1,000 children and adolescents receive specialized care, in the environment best suited to the unique challenges they face, all with the goal of providing each child with the academic, social, emotional and life skills needed to flourish in their home community

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required. One year specialized training preferred.

 

Experience: Previous experience with admissions/utilization review in a health care setting with a working knowledge of claims, authorizations, and pre-certifications.  Experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position).  Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines. 

 

Valid driver's license must be maintained.
