This position is currently hybrid, working from home with occasional needs to come to our Corporate headquarters in Villanova, PA. 

 

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Devereux, you will work with a team of dedicated professionals who share your passion working for an organization where their work contributes to our mission and helping individuals in need.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Corporate Center provides programs and services for children, adolescents, and adults with developmental, cognitive, and emotional disabilities. Located in Villanova, PA, you will work collaboratively with and provide support to the A/R Department Team as well as serve as a liaison with agencies, funding sources and Center personnel.

Devereux's corporate offices are located in Villanova PA and provide leadership, consultation and support services to the operating Centers located in 12 states. Corporate Center staff include Clinical, Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Legal, Contracts, External Affairs & Development and Marketing/Communications. The position will paying in a range up to $24/hour based on your experience.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Business Administration/Accounting, or equivalent work experience may be substituted;
  • Accounts Receivable experience in Behavioral Health/Healthcare is required;
  • Knowledge of Medicaid funding streams and other third party billing processes, and familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements and statutes;
  • Experience with automated billing systems and manual claims processing;
  • Requires excellent customer service, written communication and problem-solving skills as well as strong organization skills;
  • Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing demands of the position, customer needs and the organization;
  • Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in the use of financial database management systems, e.g., excel, Microsoft Word;
  • Analytical with the ability to put processes together and have strong attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity;
  • Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality;
