Devereux Arizona’s Residential Treatment Center (RTC) is a beautiful 24-hour, 10-acre campus located in the heart of Scottsdale. The RTC is a safe, supportive environment that provides various services to youth, from the ages of 7 to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse challenges. The Campus features dormitories, a therapeutic K-12 day school, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services.
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide direct daily medical management for our adolescent population, as well as provide, review, and follow-up with medical providers as to the effectiveness and/or possible side effects noted of medications administered. This position provides supervision regarding safety issues/crisis intervention for the campus population, infection control protocols, and general medical management. The RN will maintain effective communication with all departments involved with direct client care and will provide education/training of direct care personnel involved with the Medication Technician Certification Program at the Group Home Level.
Pay Range: $38 - $41.80 / hr.
Shift Differentials: $2/hr. 3:00pm - 11:00pm; $4/hr. 11:00pm - 7:00am, 7 days a week

On-Call Schedule: Every other Sunday from 6:30am – 6:30pm (with opportunity for additional shifts as needed)

Six (6) months nursing experience required
Previous behavioral health experience with children/adolescents or pediatric nursing preferred
Excellent communication, relationship management, and multitasking skills
