Starting Salary: $55,146.00/year with additional $$$ for education and experience above the minimum requirements.

We are excited to announce we have broken ground on a brand new campus!  Due to Devereux Georgia's history of success in treating victims since 2009,  the state has chosen to use Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health for their newly approved treatment program. The 24-bed program is a Child Caring Institution (Group Home) for victimized females between the ages of 12 and 17.

Job Summary:

 

  • Plan and implement educational instruction and services in accordance with GA Dept of Education and as required by each student's Individual Education Program (IEP)
  • Perform supervisory duties that promote teacher growth and development
  • Hold administrative responsibilities that enhance compliance with quality improvement goals. 
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in special education or education, Master's preferred.
  • Georgia Certified Teacher High School
  • Special Education Teaching Certification SPED
  • Three years teaching experience
  • Valid Driver's License
