Being a Behavior Support Specialist at Devereux PA Children's Services has its Advantages

You will work directly with our Audubon students with frequent behaviors in a school setting that is located in Norristown, PA

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52 week year round position)

Everyday as a Behavior Support Specialist you will:

• Provide behavior management support to individuals in a school setting.
• Carry out specific interventions that are developed by the Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Transfer skills to individuals’ natural support in the least restrictive environment.
• Support teachers in managing student behavior

Devereux Day Academy is a private academic school program located in Norristown, PA. EDUCATION: Registered Behavior Technician certification or RBT eligible; required.. Bachelor’s degree in a human service field preferred.

EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents with behavior challenges preferred.
