Starting Pay: $23.00 

 

The Assistant Campus Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of daily operations of the campus, providing safety and supervision of all programs (units) on our campus during their shift, along with the other leaders on Campus.

Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary coordinator of resources and communication, including on call notifications and consultation.
  • Conduct shift change and briefings with staff on shift; and assign staff to units
  • Collaboratively work with the staff and various management teams to proactively manage the safe operation of the campus, and respond to immediate issues and concerns.
  • Coordinate residential staffing and make recommendations on staffing patterns to ensure effective staff utilization and ratios on shift. 
  • Liaise with Program Managers, Program Shift Supervisors, the Master scheduler and other leaders accordingly.
  • Actively participate in investigations, assist in crisis intervention and emergencies and assist Admissions and Nursing team with intake and discharge process.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Two (2) year degree or 60 credit hours in Human Services, Psychology or related field. Experience in the field can be considered in lieu of degree. Bachelors degree preferred in the field of counseling, mental health, social work, psychology/sociology, rehabilitation, special education, or human services.

EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years in the Mental Health field, preferably in direct care supporting children and adolescents preferred. One (1) year of supervisory experience is required. 2 to 4 years experience in residential treatment/Mental Health field, preferably in direct care supporting children and adolescents preferred, including experience in a supervisory role. Must be flexible in working for, supporting, and learning the needs of the campus/program.

 

 

Other qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; leadership, relationship management, and multi-tasking skills are required.

  • Strong problem solving skills; and good judgement skills in order to make sound and independent decisions.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to utilize in-house computer applications.

  • Have a strong passion for working with and helping children living with emotional and behavioral differences.
  • Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.

  • On-call, weekend availability and some holidays required.

  • Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
