Being a Program Supervisor in our PRTF program will give you an opportunity to grow your professional skills...

Responsibilities include:

  • Comprehensive training in crisis prevention/intervention, trauma informed care, CPR, first aid and more!
  • Providing quality care and motivation to the children and adolescents we service.
  • Supervising Direct Support Professionals and providing mentorship.
  • Implementing programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical and personal needs of clients.
  • Assisting, supporting and instructing individuals in self-help skills designed to encourage independence.
  • Establishing and maintaining a therapeutic rapport with individuals.

We are seeking two (2) Program Supervisors to oversee operations in our NEW Emerging Young Adult Transition Program, dedicated to our male, IDD clients, ages 18 - 21. Program Supervisors oversee, support, supervise and act as a resource to direct support staff and individuals served. Administrative tasks are also required as needed.

 

Hours for shift:

10:45 PM - 7:15 AM. On-call, weekend availability and some holidays required. 

 

Starting Pay $24 (Additional $$$ for experience and education)

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in the field of counseling, mental health, social work, psychology/sociology, rehabilitation, special education, or human services field preferred; OR Some college education w/60 college credits in human services preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred (degree); or four (4) years of supervisory experience in a mental health related discipline required (non-degree); Direct care experience with the I/DD (intellectual/developmental disabilities) population, specifically children and adolescents preferred.

 

Other qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; leadership, relationship management, and multi-tasking skills are required.

  • Strong technical skills and ability to utilize in-house computer applications.

  • Have a strong passion for working with and helping children living with emotional and behavioral differences.
  • Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.

  • On-call, weekend availability and some holidays required.

  • Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
