As an Residential Recreation Specialist at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. We offer:
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses. Located at our main campus in Red Hook, Dutchess County, NY (12571), this position is responsible for overseeing campus activities and special events, coordinating campus-wide recreational events and insures implementation of recreational programming. You will coordinate and attend special events both on and off campus, attend assigned committees (on- and off-site), work with and support SWAG’s mission and goals, and develop and increase Recreational opportunities both on and off campus. This position also involves coaching Special Olympics. Must meet the minimum requirements to drive a Devereux vehicle, which includes being 21 or older and having a clean, valid NY State driver license.
Salary: $22+ per hour; increases depending on education and experience.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates's degree preferred.
Experience: Two years of experience in a similar setting. Recreation experience preferred.
