Devereux Arizona’s Residential Treatment Center (RTC) is a beautiful 24-hour, 10-acre campus located in the heart of Scottsdale. The RTC is a safe, supportive environment that provides various services to youth, from the ages of 7 to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse challenges. The Campus features dormitories, a therapeutic K-12 day school, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Residential Programs, the Nurse Manager provides quality care and practices within a highly acute, fast paced behavioral health residential treatment care setting. The Nurse Manager manages, leads, inspires, and motivates others to provide exceptional care to program individuals. This position leads the day to day operations of the Nursing/Medical Department including staffing, planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating best nursing practices, and will cover shifts as necessary while demonstrating a Servant Leadership mindset.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring that a high standard of quality medical care is provided by the nursing staff and has a sound understanding of C/A substance use, trauma, and mental health issues. This position serves as a liaison for all of Devereux Arizona Treatment Network regarding medical matters, serves as the Infection Control Nurse, and assists with the annual flu campaign. The Nurse Manager provides effective leadership for assigned staff, interacts effectively with others, and is a nursing resource to other Devereux programs. This position requires significant and frequent amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. There will also be frequent use of computers and office equipment, routine light lifting of 20 lbs. or less, and frequent use of standard medical equipment (scales, eye charts, thermometer).
Salary Range: $85,000 - $98,000
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm, with other hours as needed

Two (2) years in behavioral health field required; One (1) year supervisory experience required
Experienced with writing and implementing policies, procedures, department protocols, administrative, and organizational ability
