We are currently seeking a Supporting Director for our residential programs. This position is temporary, affording you an opportunity to gain or use your high level experience with a leading behavioral healthcare organization for 8-12 months. Do you already have that experience but are looking for a change of pace? Consider this an opportunity to join our team with the possibility of moving into another role following the 8-12 month assignment! 

 

Applicants who are intersted in a part-time role will also be considered if available a minimum of 3 days per week. 

 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for management aspects that fall within our residential service line. 
  • Provides support and supervision to Operations Managers and Residential Managers.
  • Works collaboratively with team members for effective problem solving
  • Effectively organizes, manages, and coordinates daily operations of group homes.
  • Provides feedback and coaching to employees regarding performance and development.
  • Ensure effective internal, and external communications.
  • Actively monitors residential programs to ensure compliance at all times with all Devereux and licensing standards.
  • Implements corrective action
  • Conducts interviews and hiring needs for the department.
  • Documents, follows-up on, and reports out on relevant data.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. Located in Newfoundland, PA.

Location: 1547 Millcreek Road, Newfoundland, PA 18445

Salary: Dependent upon experience and Full-time/Part-time status. ($45,500 - $75,000)

Qualifications

Education: Master's degree or above in related human service or management field preferred.  Related bachelor's degree required.

Experience: Five years of progressive experience, including some management, within an intellectual/developmental disabilities setting.  Requires excellent oral & written communication skills, and customer service skills.
