 The Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health center serves adolescents and young adults – from 10 to age 21 – with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral and emotional disorders. Each year, many children and adolescents receive specialized care, in the environment best suited to the unique challenges they face, all with the goal of providing each child with the academic, social, emotional and life skills needed to flourish in their home community.

This position is responsible to:

• Establishing and maintaining a therapeutic rapport with children/adolescents
• Encourage and provide opportunities for positive peer and social interactions, teaching of social skills, a sense of community, anti-bulling and problem solving
• Assisting, supporting and instructing individuals in self-help, coping skills and positive behavioral interventions outlined in a clinical treatment plan
• Ensuring individuals are safe, healthy and living in a clean environment.
• Planning and implementing positive use of free time through recreational activities and personal leisure skill development

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia provides programs and services for adolescents. Located in Kennesaw, GA.

• Bachelor's degreee preferred
• Experience with the IDD population required, a plus if you have your RBT certification!
