Description

Devereux Arizona’s Therapeutic Foster Care Program (TFC) serves children and adults with significant behavioral and emotional needs. Individuals are referred to Devereux via Arizona behavioral health networks and several tribal entities. Therapeutic foster parents are extensively trained to address each individual's intense needs and work with them toward their treatment goals.

 

Reporting to the TFC Program Manager, the Foster Care Coordinator (Adult care) maintains and delivers high quality therapeutic services to TFC Individuals who have a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral complications. This position provides supervision, clinical oversight and support to the Therapeutic Home Specialists and Therapeutic Home Providers and Individuals as needed.

 

Pay Range: $55,000 - $60,500

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with rotating on-call one (1) week per month

Work is in-office, home, community settings, and throughout Devereux Arizona premises

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree; preferred: Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field preferred; AZ behavioral health licensure a plus
  • Three (3) years of work experience in foster care or behavioral health related field
  • Supervisory experience required

OTHER:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check
  • Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
  • Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment
  • Must be available to attend new hire orientation Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm (paid)
  • Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions). Arizona Revised Statues Notice (ARS 36-411 Residential care institutions; nursing care institutions; home health agencies; fingerprinting requirements; exemptions; definitions). If a person's employment record contains a six-month or longer time frame during which the person was not employed by any employer, a completed application with a new set of fingerprints shall be submitted to the department of public safety.
