Devereux's Children's Behavioral Health Center (DCBHC) is hiring a Part-Time Program Supervisor. As a Program Supervisor you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need.

Devereux's Children's Behavioral Health Center (DCBHC), located in Malvern, PA is an acute care inpatient psychiatric hospital specializing in the stabilization and treatment of children and adolescents experiencing a mental health crisis. The position of Program Supervisor Plans and implements hospital program services for assigned patients. Assists in providing supervision of patients in program therapeutic activities and leisure time. Maintains a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of program patients. Provides leadership, guidance and support to staff in assigned program.
Shift: Saturday and Sunday- 7am-3:30pm. There is one week of orientation required. Mon-Wed are in person, 9am-5pm in West Chester, Thursday and Friday are virtual and take 8hrs per day.
Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) center serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credits hours in a human services discipline to include but not limited to psychology, sociology, social work, education, pastoral counseling, political science, heath, recreation, criminal justice, counseling; and a minimum of two years direct care experience; OR 60 college credits from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline (as described above), and three years direct care experience
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year of supervisory experience required.
