The pay for this position starts at $19.53/hour, with additional compensation added for higher education and/or years of relevant experience up to $22.76/hour.

Based in Central Massachusetts, our programs and services make a difference in the lives of individuals and their families, offering hope, healing, and comprehensive behavioral health support.

Devereux is seeking a Community Support Worker in the Shrewsbury, MA area to bring an adult male individual requiring supervision into the community and accompany them based on their interests. Examples of outings may include shopping, walks, libraries, museums, shows, movies, etc.  This role is flexible and you can work with the family to arrange the timing of these weekly outings. The time commitment of this role is 3-5 hours per week.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required. 
• High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with adult individuals with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred.
• Must be able to attend 2 days of new hire orientation, Monday & Tuesday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.
