Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health League City provides programs and services for adolescents with Autism.
JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as the immediate supervisor for all Behavior Support Specialists.
Assists Program Manager in maintaining all aspects of the program, on a 24-hour basis.
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day implementation of the clinical program and the accompanying documentation.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations (HHSC) and accreditation standards (Joint Commission) as well as internal policy and procedure expectations.
Assists Program Manager with administrative and fiscal management, as well as clinical supervision over programmatic functions and personnel within the assigned services.
He/She functions as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and assists in providing care and treatment that is appropriate to the ages and populations served, specifically adolescents with Autism and/or Intellectual Developmental Disabilities.
Education: High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field is preferred. Proficient computer skills. Valid driver license must be maintained during employment.
Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the Mental Health or other related field. 2-3 years supervisory experience preferred.
