Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services (DPACS) is currently seeking an Admissions Specialist to work at their adolescent IDD/Autism psychiatric residential treatment facility, located in West Chester, PA. The Admissions Specialist performs a variety of tasks involving admissions processes to include primary external and internal customer contacts, intake processes, data entry and tracking and performing chart audits to ensure compliance and payment for services provided.

Our residential programs provide each child and their families, with the skills and resources needed to reach the greatest level of personal happiness and success. Our residential homes and cottages reflect a warm, home-like setting. This approach not only provides a safe, dignified environment for the children, but it also offers opportunities for experiential learning, where children can practice life skills needed as an adult, from cooking and cleaning, to positive communication, conflict resolution, cooperation and compromise.
Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) center serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma. Associates Degree in related field preferred. Must possess current, valid driver’s license.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years’ experience working in a clerical/secretarial position in front office healthcare setting required. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
