The Director of Quality Improvement works closely with all leadership team members to oversee quality improvement initiatives at the center, corrective action plans, are implemented properly, tracked, and reported. The Director of Quality Improvement manages the Quality Improvement team and will ensure all team members maintain up-to-date knowledge of program regulations, and participates in staff trainings. The Director of Quality Improvement ensures compliance with Devereux policies and procedures along with all federal, state, and local regulations and laws, as well as all licensing and accreditation regulations.
Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (DCBHC), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree preferred
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years previous experience in a behavioral healthcare setting. Two (2) years of previous supervisory experience. Previous experience in utilization review and/or admissions. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position). Strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines
Valid driver's license must be maintained.
