Starting Rate: $60,000.00/year + additional compensation for higher education/years of experience in the field up to $69,490.00.

$1,000 signing bonus available!

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health - Massachusetts serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Staff design house-specific routines, chores, and activities that support the individuals' growth and development.

 

As Clinician, you will: 

  • The Senior Clinician will carry out all responsibilities of a clinician, including providing evidence based therapeutic intervention to individuals in our off campus group home located in Paxton, MA.
  • This program serves co-ed youth, ages 6 to 12, on a rapid reintegration care program. With a 1:3 staff to student ratio, we identify and treat safety/risk factors, barrier behaviors, factors that precipitated placement, and facilitate reintegration of the youth to the family or next appropriate placement in the shortest time period possible, usually within a matter of days.
  • The Senior clinician will serve as a member of individual treatment teams and the community milieu team. 
  • The senior clinician will also act as a liaison between Center and other involved parties.
  • Additionally, the senior clinician will provide supervision to clinicians and/or case managers and serve as the lead clinical voice in the milieu team, assisting with risk management and clinical intergration.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Masters Degree in Psychology or Social Work, MSW or PsyD/PhD or  M.Ed with specialization in counseling and direct treatment services to children required 
  • 1 year of relevant experience providing direct treatment services to children required  
  • License required, although applicants who are license-eligible in need of supervised clinical hours will be considered
  • Experience implementing evidence-based treatments such as CBT, DBT, ABA, and Motivational Interviewing
  • Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of software programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
