The Director of Quality Improvement works closely with all leadership team members to oversee quality improvement initiatives at the center, corrective action plans,  are implemented properly, tracked, and reported. The Director of Quality Improvement manages the Quality Improvement team and will ensure all team members maintain up-to-date knowledge of program regulations, and participates in staff trainings. The Director of Quality Improvement ensures compliance with Devereux policies and procedures along with all federal, state, and local regulations and laws, as well as all licensing and accreditation regulations. 

 

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (DCBHC), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and  approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives. 

 

As the Director of Quality Improvement at Devereux PA Children's Services, you will... 

  • Oversee the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of performance improvement activities
  • Manage and report data related to licensing audits, corrective action plans, and program inspections
  • Be the subject matter expert for all operational licensing requirements which include PA3800 regulations, Pennsylvania Department of Education, Joint Commission Standards 
  • Provide supervision and oversight for assigned department

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree required.  Master’s degree preferred

 

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five year’s previous experience in a youth behavioral/MH and/or IDD healthcare setting.  A minimum of five years of direct experience in quality, regulatory affairs, performance improvement/corrective actions, and investigatory processes is required. Minimum of three years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting required. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position).  Strong organizational skills.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines

 

Valid driver's license must be maintained.
