Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses. Located at our main campus in Red Hook, NY, this position provides administrative/executive support to the Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director to ensure that office operations are performed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. They will perform duties in a confidential manner and will be responsive to customer needs. Administrative support will include telephone support, drafting and coordinating internal and external correspondence, travel arrangements, tracking memberships, managing calendars and scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, document preparation and/or processing, filing, etc. The Executive Assistant will maintain a log of concerns/inquiries and ensure follow-through on reported issues. They will keep the Executive Director abreast of events as they occur, as well as collect and prepare data for reporting internally and externally. 

 

Salary: (commensurate with education and experience)

With HS diploma: $22.50 - $24.07 per hour

With Bachelors: $23.50 - $25.14 per hour

With Masters: $24.50 - $26.21 per hour

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:  High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Proficient in Microsoft applications.

 

EXPERIENCE:  One year office experience in similar setting performing similar duties required. Previous experience in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Significant, prolonged, and frequent amounts of walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending and lifting 10 lbs or more is required. Must be able to operate and maintain office equipment. Free of dependency and abuse of illegal or illicit drugs, alcohol, inhalants or other chemical or controlled substances.
