Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses. Located at our main campus in Red Hook, NY, this position is responsible for providing day-to-day supervision, direction, and training to campus QIDPs/Case Managers. They will advise the Director of Campus Services regarding issues for individual QIDPs or the position as a whole. They will observe treatment team meetings as necessary to supervise QIDPs and will complete performance evaluations and progressive discipline as necessary. The Supervisor will monitor timelines for QIDPs (ISPs, quarterly reports, telephone logs) and maintain monthly responsibility calendars, proposed CC schedules, and report grids. They will be the primary respondent to all Devereux departments, the corporate office, and outside inquiries pertaining to QIDP services. The Case Manager/QIDP Supervisor will coordinate all MHLS visits, Choices activities, Consent Process/HRC tracking. They will chair the Discharge Committee, and have oversight of participation of all areas in House Meetings, PIVOT meetings, and IEP and ISP meetings.

 

Salary: $60,405.84 annually

Qualifications

EDUCATION:  Bachelors Degree in human services field, including but not limited to :Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work is required. Proficiency in oral and written communications

 

EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years experience working directly with persons with intellectual developmental disabilities or other developmental disabilities

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Free of dependency and abuse of illegal or illicit drugs, alcohol, inhalants or other chemical or controlled substances.  Significant, prolonged, and frequent amounts of walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending and lifting of 20 lbs or more is required
