Being a Information Systems Manager at Devereux has its Advantages

 

The Information Systems Manager will oversee the information systems and technological needs of Devereux New Jersey (DNJ) providing support to multiple physical locations.  You will serve as a liaison with Corporate Information Systems personnel to ensure that current information systems needs are met and develop and coordinate systems to meet the future operational needs of the Center.    

 

Responsibilities of the Information Systems Manager include: 

  • Serve as the Center’s Network Administrator for Information Technology systems.  Ensures the operation, development and security of the Center’s information systems.  Ensures that all center applications are in compliance with current regulatory requirements (HCSIS, HIPAA, etc).
  • Install, and perform or arrange for routine maintenance service for all Center Personal Computers (PCs). Recommends replacement and upgrades as needed.  Maintain and update inventory of all computer hardware and software.
  • Collaboratively define and implement processes designed to maintain security and safety for clients resulting from evolving technologies.
  • Perform daily back-up of Center’s file servers. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and back-up plans to limit the risk of network downtime.
  • Work collaboratively with Corporate Information Systems personnel to ensure that all new and remote users obtain and maintain network access capabilities.
  • Evaluate computer equipment capabilities and recommend equipment, hardware and software acquisitions. 
  • Assists in the development of annual and long-range plans for system needs and budgeting purposes.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of all systems and software packages used at the Center. 
  • Performs computer application training for Center employees.
  • Promptly assists any Center user with application or hardware system questions.
  • Maintains compliance with all training/learning requirements and takes initiative in seeking opportunities for professional growth

Salary: $65,000-$70,000 (dependent upon experience)

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:  Completion of an information systems technical educational program, Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent job related experience required.  Must possess current, valid driver’s license.

 

EXPERIENCE:  Requires experience or educational curriculum regarding PCs, LANs, WANs, and providing technical support.  Knowledge of multiple software applications required.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Must be at least 21 years of age.
