Key Responsabilities: 
  • Implement the daily operation of the assigned residence and function as shift leader in the absence of the RM.
  • Assist in the planning and carry out of ISP/IPP Plans.

  • Maintain mandated CT DDS medication certification and will dispense medication as assigned.

  • Ensures all required documentation is completed, which includes, but is not limited to, daily logs, MyAvatar, staff communication logs, data collection, bed checks.

  • Responsible for student / resident clothing and property inventories.

  • Complete client/house money ledgers as spending occurs in conjunction with the RM

  • Complete wage spreadsheet and banking as pay checks are received in conjunction with the RM.

  • Supervise and assist with house meals.

 

Location: Washington, CT

Salary: Starting at $23.50 hourly (commensurate with education and experience)

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher degree (BS/BA) preferred. High School diploma/GED required
  • 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Have a valid CT Drivers License.
  • Be flexible, patient, energetic, and creative.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Have a strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend, and move throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or assist with up to 70 pounds as needed
  • Ability to assist with emergency responses, including evacuations or crisis situations.
