We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Administrative Assistant to join our team on a 2-3 month contract. This role is responsible for reviewing and identifying deficiencies in employee records, communicating with staff to collect missing information, and converting paper files into digital records. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, a high level of discretion, and experience working with confidential information. 

 

Key Responsibiltiies Include:

 

The HR Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department by:

  • Coordinating onboarding activities
  • Maintaining employee records and assisting with employment transactions
  • Scheduling and communicating onboarding appointments for new hires
  • Managing personnel files
  • Preparing termination documentation
  • Ensuring accurate recordkeeping within HR systems

The HR Administrative Assistant also maintains HR trackers and reports, assists with Personnel Action Requests (PARs), and uploads new hire documentation into electronic filing systems. This position plays a key role in supporting efficient HR operations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures.

 

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia provides programs and services for adolescents with behevaioral health and developmental diagnosis. Located in Kennesaw, GA this position is responsible for managing the process of transferring paper files to electronic files.

Qualifications

 

•Proven experience in administrative, compliance, HR, or records management roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify documentation deficiencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management
systems.
• Experience with Oracle as an HRIS is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Experience with HR compliance, document auditing, or regulatory documentation is a
plus
