The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $23.30 per hour, depending on education and experience.

This position is located in Rutland, MA.

The available schedule is Friday and Saturday 4pm-10pm and Sunday 8am-4pm (20 hours per week), with the opportunity to cover additional shifts if desired when needed.

 

Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to helping children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Through our residential and placement services in the community, we help individuals learn the skills needed for independent living and making meaningful life choices. We provide supportive settings in comfortable home environments and ensure that individuals have access to services that are appropriate to their developmental level, and cognitive, emotional, and social abilities.

 

As the Administrative Specialist at Switchboard you will:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for callers, visitors, clients, families, staff and community partners, maintaining a professional, calm, and helpful presence at all times.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, greet visitors, and assist with initiating and following emergency procedures. 
  • Assist with clerical tasks such as mail sorting and distribution, copying and faxing, booking conference rooms, and occassional data entry/updates.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED
  • 3 years relevant experience in administration, preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communictaion skills. Proficient  computer and Mircosoft Office skills.
  • Must be able to attend 3 days of paid new hire orientation Monday-Wednesday 8:00am-4:00pm
