Devereux PA Adult Services is located in Berwyn, PA. We provide programs and services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our dedicated team of over 800 staff ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses to recreational and direct support professionals all work towards one common goal - the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community.

As a Training Specialist you will:

• Assist with planning and implementing training programs designed to improve staff job performance and required skills
• Provide learning and training support for new and current staff   
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and key personnel to ensure that staff meet training requirements
• Track staff training to ensure organizational, regulatory, and licensing compliance
• Provide consultation and support to program directors, department heads and other supervisors in matters related to staff training

Pay for the position $45,000-$51,000

EDUCATION:  Associates degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Education, or related field, required.  Bachelors degree, preferred.

EXPERIENCE:  At least one (1) year previous experience conducting staff training and development, preferably in human service or health care.  Instructor’s certification in First Aid, CPR, Crisis Prevention/Intervention, New Directions, QPR is preferred.
