Pay:

• Base pay now starting at $20.00/hr
• Experience credit applied in addition to base pay up to $22.80/hr
• Overtime payment at 1.5x your hourly rate

The Glenholme School:

For over 50 years -- The Glenholme School, part of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, has provided a comprehensive residential program and services for children with learning differences and special needs. Located in picturesque Washington, CT the Custodian position will be part of a cohesive, passionate and dynamic team. 

Position:

The Custodian is responsible for performing a variety of custodial duties, minor maintenance tasks, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary condition. This role contributes to the cleanliness and functionality of the program.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Cleans office spaces, residential buildings, bathrooms, school, etc. which may include deep cleanings as needed
• Ensures all surfaces such as floors, furniture, windows, etc. are clean on a regular basis
• Empties trash
• Maintains a safe envionment by using proper signage (wet floors, etc.)
• Cleans custodial equipment and maintains tools so they are in proper working condition
• Replenishes custodial supplies as needed
• Ensures safe and sanitary storage of custodial supplies and equipment
• Reports any safety concerns to Facilities Director
• Assists Maintenance as needed
