Devereux's Advanced Children Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time, Learning Manager position to plan, coordinate and assist in the implementation of the Center’s staff training programs as well as assisting with employee development processes.
As a Learning Manager:
Devereux Advanced Children's Behavioral Health Services (CBHS) provides a range of programs and services for at-risk children and adolescents with a wide range of mental, emotional and behavioral challenges. Each year, more than 800 children and adolescents ages 6 through 18 receive specialized care in the environment best suited to the challenges they face, all with the goal of providing each child with the academic, social, emotional and life skills needed to return to their home community and become productive and positive forces within their neighborhoods. CBHS services include residential treatment centers, an inpatient program, approved private schools, and a range of community based services in Southeast PA and Delaware.
Education - Bachelor’s degree in behavioral healthcare, learning and development or related field with a Master’s degree preferred.
Experience – Five for more years of operations experience in one or more behavioral treatments settings to inlude psychiatric inpatient and or residential treatment facilities, special education schools or community based programs (e.g. BHRS, Family Based Treatment Services).
Applicants must have certification and/or experience delivering formal training in such areas as Crisis Prevention and Intervention, Positive Behavior Supports, Supportive Behavioral Supervision or other behavioral treatment related topics. Additional expertise in related areas such as CPR, Emergency Procedures, OSHA standards - Hazard Surveillance, Infection Control, etc. a plus.
